Whistler Titan Review – A Radar Detector That Hangs with The Big Dogs
After a two year delay, due to global supply chain disruptions, Whistler has finally released its new extreme performance radar detector, called the Titan.
Thew new Whistler Titan can now genuinely be considered an extreme performance radar detector being able to hang with the top tier radar detectors.
It’s the first Whistler to utilize DSP (digital signal processing) something that in this day in age, is a must.
Furthermore, the Whistler Titan is now based on a superior LO (local oscillation frequency) of 14.5 GHz as our other top-end radar detectors.
As a result of these two design elements, gone are the days of long-standing Whistler idiosyncrasies such as the occasional band-misidentification.
The Titan routinely alerts at ranges similar to other high-end radar detectors such as the Uniden R3, R4, R7, R8, the Radenso DS1, and Escort’s iX, Max 30c, and Max 3 and on occasion can out alert them.
Consistency is the operative word with the Whistler Titan. Consistency with alerting and consistency of filtering out falses.
The Whistler Titan represents a huge step forward for Whistler and it paves the way for other extreme performance detectors in the future.
Radar Busters is offering the Whistler Titan for sale now.
The Veil Guy has published detailed Whistler Titan review for those interested in learning more about this exciting new radar detector.
