I live in Colorado and I see that State Law prohibits jammers and anything active or passive that interfers with radar and laser devises. Does that include Veil?
No, the Veil is a coating just like what you put on your car. It is a passive device
@Jim, Veil is a coating that you would apply to your headlamps and front license plate, so I wouldn’t think it would be illegal. I’ll ask the Veil Guy to come in and comment
i want radar jammers
This really explained quite a bit about each state. I especially learned about the veil and active and passive units. Thank You
Radar and Laser Jammer Laws –
Probably cause is a very subjective thing in this case. State law may give the officer PC to stop you as jamming approved law enforcement equipment may be against the law. If the system is installed discreetly and punchthru takes place during the merge, then he would have to move on to other vehicles. One could program the jammer to shut off automatically after a few seconds.
radar roy is the man
Interesting article…gonna have to look into getting some of that Veil coating
