How to Program Your AntiLaser Priority Laser Jammer
When you receive your AntiLaser Priority Laser Jamming system it will be programmed as a parking sensor only.
This is because laser jamming is illegal in various countries and AntiLaser labels the box as a parking sensor, which is legal throughout the world.
Because of this to transform your AntiLaser into a fully functional laser jamming system there are a few things you need to do which we will share with you during this video.
The first step I recommend is registering your AntiLaser Priority on the manufactures website ALPRIORITY.com and go to the bottom of the page and click on the icon product registration.
Then here complete the form with your name, email address and so on.
During this process you’ll need the serial number from the control box and the serial numbers for your sensors, which are printed on the box.
So make sure that you don’t toss them until you save these numbers someplace.
You’ll also need to enter the date of your purchase, the dealer you purchased the unit from and the price you paid.
After you fill in all your information press the orange send button and your product will be registered and you will have a two-year manufactures warranty on your jammer.
You’ll also receive updates from AntiLaser when they have new firmware updates you can install on your system.
The next step of the process is to go to the ALP Setup Update here website ALPUPDATE.Com and set-up your firmware for the AntiLaser Priority.
Now if you using a Mac during this process, it is very important that you have a USB drive that is already formatted for FAT-32 so your AntiLaser can read the files.
As you will be doing the initial set-up press the enter button under Setup.
First select the region you live, in this demonstration I will be selecting North America.
Now your first option is to select the audio volume; 1 is silent and 5 is loud and the default is 3.
Next select the parking detection range for the parking sensor mode, the default is 3.
Then we have the silent power-up option and the default option is off. Basically what this is when you power your ALP system on, you’ll hear a series of beeps confirming that it is powering up.
Next we have dark mode settings.
By default your ALP systems LED light will blink on and off while you’re driving. If you find this too annoying you can change this to dim or dark mode.
Next you’ll have your parking detection on selector and by default all are turned on.
Below this you’ll see an option to activate the GPS receiver. If you purchased this accessory you’ll want to activate it and then next to this define the speed limit.
Now bellow the fun begins.
You’ll see three buttons, PDC only, PDC and DLI and PDC and LID
PDC is the option for the device being only a parking sensor.
PDC + DLI is parking mode with Laser sensing capabilities.
PDC + LID is the Laser Jamming Option, so press this option.
By enabling pro mode, when laser interference is detected your LED will blink only while you are being targeted, the default setting is off.
Next if you have the external GPS you can define a speed limit to activate your system, the default is no limit.
Now if you drive in an area where laser jamming is illegal you may want to consider programming your ALP system so it auto shuts off after 4-seconds so you reduce the suspicions of an officer that you’re jamming them.
You can also select other shut off times such as 5,6, 7 or even program your system for unlimited, the choice is yours.
Next you have the warm up system where your ALP goes through the process of warming up which typically takes a minute, you can program it so it skips this process.
Then you have specific LID or laser defense options.
I recommend that you keep each selected to its default settings for optimal settings.
Then if you have the external radar detector interface and a compatible radar detector, you can select it here to activate.
Then once you have all your selections made, press the blue button save and download and transfer the file over to your USB drive.
Now next if you have the external HiFi module click on the home button and then next the firmware upgrade button.
Here you can download the firmware to update your AntiLaser along with the voice packs.
Once you have all your files transferred over to your USB then plug it into your AntiLaser controller and power the unit on.
Typically the process takes about a minute and once it’s all done you’ve transformed your ALP parking sensor into a fully functional laser-jamming device.
