MediaFlair by Escort – Review
Finally, a portable wireless media storage device that allows you to share files on up to 5 smartphones and/or tablets at the same time!
My full time job as an Internet Marketing trainer/consultant requires me to travel to give presentations to clients and students across the US.
Because of this I have had to tug along a projector, laptop and USB drives pre-loaded with my files and presentations.
But no more since I have been using the new MediaFlair by Escort.
Portable Wireless Storage for Tablets/Smartphones
Today everyone carries around a smart phone in his or her pocket whether it is an Android or OS device.
So by pre-loading all my presentations and documents onto a SD card and then plugging it into my MediaFlair, I am able to share presentations, videos, photos and other documents during my presentations with just a flick of a switch and having my audience download the MediaFlair app onto their smart device.
Review of the Escort MediaFlair
I have been using the Escort MediaFlair now for over a week and the best way I can describe it is having a portable wireless hard drive in your pocket that allows you to stream and share files with up to 5 portable smart devices at the same time.
The device itself is smaller then a deck of cards and the battery will last up to 4-hours.
On the bottom of the MediaFlair there is a smart card that you remove to add files from your computer.
Storage all depends on the size of your smartcard and you can quickly swap out cards.

First, it is an SD card, not a smart card. An SD card is about the size and shape of a postage stamp and typically used in media devices or cameras.
There is also a “micro-SD” used typically in smartphones.
A “smart card” is for the phone (or tablet) to connect to the wireless carrier.
If you have an Android phone or tablet with an SD or micro-SD slot, there are many simple sharing apps. Download, run, and it will tell you how to connect.
I have a Toshiba Thrive with full sized SDXC (latest), HDMI and USB port.
And a Samsung player I use in conjunction with a Wifi hotspot (currently a jetpack) on my Harley, among other things to view weather radar and traffic.
Thank you TZ for bringing this to my attention, I made the appropriate changes to the review
