Laser Jammer Laws
Did you know that you can still own a laser jammer, even in areas where laser jamming is illegal?
You of course must operate the laser jammer in a safe & legal fashion, regardless of whether the jammer is legal or not.
In this 6 minute video I Interview Leon Gruner (aka the Blinder Dude) about laser jammer laws and tips on how to use your jammer in areas where they are illegal.

During my Interview Leon shares with you tips on how to use your Blinder in a legal fashion, in states where laser jamming is illegal.
Leon & I discuss the remote switch for direct controlling the Blinder. You can mount the remote switch on to your dash or another area, such as your ash tray.
The remote switch has four settings:
- Position 0 = OFF
- Position 1 = Parking Sensor Mode
- Position 2 = Detection Only Mode
- Position 3 = Full Jamming Mode
With laser jamming now illegal in eleven states, this makes the remote switch a must have. The remote switch allows you to turn off the jamming in areas where jammers are illegal. However that is not all the switch does.
Position 1 “Parking Sensor Mode” is legal everywhere, because all the unit is doing is making sure you don’t accidentally hit something while parking. Leon SHARES with us, that when in “Parking Sensor Mode” the Blinder will start alerting within three to four feet of any object. When in Position 2 “Detection Only Mode”, the Blinder does nothing more than detect incoming laser signals, which is illegal in only two states. Position 3 “Full Jamming Mode”, is the fire hose setting for the Blinder. In Position 3 the Blinder not only detects incoming laser signals & alerts you too it, the Blinder is actively jamming LIDAR (laser) guns used by law enforcement.
Auto Shut Down!
Another really cool feature Leon SHARES is the Blinder’s ability to automatically shut itself off, after detecting a laser signal.
How this works is by, using Blinder’s Live Update Tool, you can set the Blinder to shut itself off after receiving a laser signal in five, seven or ten seconds. This feature gives you time to lower your speed without worrying about turning off the jammer, which is very important for areas where laser jamming is illegal. Blinder USA included this as a safety feature, just like they did with the “Parking Sensor Mode”, because paying attention to your driving is more important than fumbling around with the remote control.
Blinder Will Pay Your Tickets!
Leon also SHARES Blinder USA’s Speeding Ticket Program. With this program Blinder USA will pay any speeding ticket you get as long as it within the program rules.
The rules for the Speeding Ticket Program:
- Ticket must be for going NO MORE than twenty five miles an hour (25Mph), above the posted speed limit.
- Cannot be for DUI (Driving Under the Influence) or DWI (Driving While Intoxicated).
- Cannot be for speeding in a school zone.
- Cannot be for speeding in a construction zone.
So as you can see Blinder USA is very committed, not only to customers getting the most out of the Blinder, but the customer’s safety as well. It’s very easy to see why Blinder USA is among the top laser jammer manufacturers.

Interesting project but I see some holes
Most of the speed cameras use two types of technology, embedded sensors in the road or low power radar. Therefore this device is in effective against these correct?
On the video, it stated that the Blinder can be updated to protect against new laser guns. Is there a charge for these updates or are the updates free? Thanks!
No charge, they are free. All you need is the jamemr.
