I Use the Pro78SE and feel that it should have received a 4 star rating. It is easily as good as the Bel 995 on the KA Band, and perhaps a second slower to respond on the other bands.

Thanks for this tip. My husband is actually looking for a radar detector (he does have a bit of a lead foot). We don’t really know which to buy. And like you, we’re looking for something that costs less than USD200.
