I read the comments about it lasting a year before re applying but I was wondering will washing the car remove the product? Also since it has a bit of tint to it will you be able to tell when it is wearing off?

You don't need to buy the Escort USB cable. Any properly sized one works just fine. There is nothing "special" about the Escort cable. I used the one from my digital camera.

Well it comes down to the fact of having a detector that will warn you a little faster then the other thus having a better chance at beating that ticket To me, yes it is worth it

Typically the firmware in the Escort models are a tad better on performance and filtering and this is the case with the Redline Either way be sure to signup for our special offers and save on either detector

Every other weekend (when LEOs are very active) I drive from Macon, GA to Savannah, GA. I currently own a Beltronics RX65 based on your comments about it and I love it by the way. I'm looking to give the RX65 to my wife and upgrade for myself. How much better (if at all) is the Escort Redline over the Beltronics STI Driver/Magnum? Respectfully, Corey

Radar is radio frequency and will penetrate everything but lead Thus yes your radar detector will work on your bike and receive radar from the rear
